Training the Slayer skill is important
In Carnillean Rising, the very idea of a quest is turned upside down and shaken about like a badly mixed potion. You see, Sir Ceril Carnillean is very disappointed in his young son, and he wants you to turn him into a brave, handsome and daring adventurer, just like you. Ceril’s really proud of a…

Most casters have some form of fear or trap
As someone who’s looking for upgrades for both his Enh and Resto sets, mastery is an intensely confounding stat. I’m really excited for it half the time, and cursing it the other half. If there is available support, he will most likely ask for them to cancel the order and refund the money. And it…

What Makes a Good Leader?
Often larger guilds try and combine the two, a hierarchical structure in terms of leaders and officers but also sub-divide of their guild into chapters, or departments, so as to make use of a matrix structure. If you can pull it off, this can work very well as each guild member will feel part of a close knit group as well as having the benefit of a clear direction and decision making structure. This sort of combination is very hard to pull off successfully but will reap huge benefits over time.  In my experience there has to be a lot of trust in your officers and members and of them in you to make this work. Since most guilds have more than 30 people, a matrix style structure is clearly not going to work all that well. This means that the best option is to have a hierarchical one. However, the most critical factor in this type of structure is the quality of the leader at each level in the chain.Below are 13 tips and bits of advice to help you and me become better guild leaders. There have been thousands of books written on how to be a better leader, so I would suggest hitting the books to help you understand more of what makes a good leader. History shows us, that an organization rises or falls on the ability of the leaders so it makes (to me) complete sense to learn and be as good as one as possible. Personally I’ve found books on leadership by Dr John Maxwell, Stephen Covey, Warren Bennis and Dale Carnegie to be a great help, but there are many, many more. This short wiki article on Tuckman’s stages of group development is also a great starting to place as it helps show how your Guild will behave when it’s launched and as it progresses over time. Tips and Hints for Guild Leaders: Delegate, delegate, delegate. Not only will it take a whole load of pressure off you, it will give your guild members something to aspire to. Treat every new guild member as though they could be your next officer and your next officer as a potential guild leader. That’s right, aim to train yourself out of a job. Also, ensure there is no over-reliance on any one person, be that for doing events or paying the bills. Fandral called upon the druids to focus their energies
Near the city gates, the tide turned, and it was all the combined forces could do to hold the line. To push any further would be impossible. Merithra, Caelestrasz and Arygos decided to push into the city and hold the Qiraji back long enough for Anachronos, Fandral, and the remaining druids and priestesses to create…

RuneScape decides to take a different route
Everyone has played RuneScape, it is just one of those facts like eating spiders in your sleep, being in constant close proximity to rats, and hating the bottom-burp that is Piers Morgan. The chances are, if you are a goblin-loving type like the staff at this website, you will have found yourself fervently…

The heavy apparatuses creaked and groaned ominously
He and the other Vindicators, holy warriors of the Light, would fight to the very last. He glanced to either side at his brethren stationed at intervals along the wall walk. Like him, they stood impassive and resolute, having reached their own peace with the destiny that now awaited them. Outside, the war machines had…

nothing is stance-defined or -limited
I’m not sure I’d want to be stance switching to AoE unless there was going to be a long enough AoE period to justify losing the damage to all my other abilities in exchange for more damage for my Whirlwind and Cleave. I’m also hoping Bladestorm and Shockwave, as the top tier warrior abilities of…

The numbers of the Qiraji were dwindling
Shiromar felt for sure that they had won out; but as the shadows grew long and day proceeded into night, the battle continued. In the center of the fray, Fandral, Valstann, and the Qiraji general clashed in a desperate struggle. As Shiromar narrowly avoided several attacks from the winged Qiraji, she glanced to where the…

You can invest gold into the blacksmith and jeweler
Apart from the Auction House, you can invest gold into two artisans—the blacksmith and jeweler—learning recipes to create your own gear. Some recipes (especially recipes for rare equipment) require you to obtain plans and bring them back to the blacksmith. Also, items can be broken down into components used in the crafting process. This is…
