World of Warcraft’s lead composer is making the greatest and best video game songs in the world… tribute band. Critical Hit, composer Jason Hayes new band, interprets classic soundtrack selections from Skyrim to Angry Birds.
(If you need a refresher on Hayes work, he did the original Stormwind theme, among many other WoW selections still trumpeting from players’ brains.)
Critical Hits features a revolving selection of musicians led by Hayes and arranged by Cheap FFXIV Gil fellow game composer Adam Gubman. The band’s first record will release digitally on Oct. 31, and you can listen in early on their rendition of Angry Birds’ main theme below.
